L’Autriche – Österreich
 

This web site is devoted towards my home country, Austria, which is located in the Heart of Europe. Austria is the Germanic core of what was once the Austrian-Hungarian Empire - the second largest empire in Europe right after Russia. The capital city, Vienna, is located close to the eastern border of modern Austria. I grew up and lived for the most part close to the city of Salzburg (about 20 miles north-east of it) and I studied at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz.
